Maintaining Mexico's competitiveness
Over the past decade, Mexico grew to become the 6th largest global vehicle producer and
4th largest exporter. But slowdowns in its major export markets, changing trade terms in
North America and new technology are set to challenge and transform the automotive sector in the 2020s.
Our opening session identifies the key disruptions and developments, from digitalisation to impacts
from the US Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA formerly NAFTA), that logistics and supply chain managers need to tackle
to ensure Mexico remains competitive and that its supply chain continues to thrive.
