We’ve wrapped up the most well-attended, most dynamic and exciting ALSC Mexico ever, with the community coming together to discuss supply chain transformation in Mexico, and with a special focus on talent.

Like logistics in Mexico, the conference had to face its own unexpected acts of nature, too. After lunch by our sponsor Ryder System, Inc., the audience had to temporarily evacuate because of an earthquake. Thankfully, Marquis Reforma Mexico City followed protocols perfectly and led everyone to the safety zone. No one was injured, and the event could resume! As our editor-in-chief Christopher Ludwig reports, you have to deal with the unexpected and in those times, take care of your people, first!

Delegates heard from the likes of JAC México, Audi México, SEV and Nissan Motor Corporation, as well as Jack Cooper Transport, ProTrans, and even the United Nations.

The final day also featured special invites to students interested in supply chain management and logistics from Universidad Panamericana, who joined sessions, asked questions and networked with industry leaders.
