His appointment follows the departure of David Hendley, who was vice-president of auto operations and logistics at the carmaker. Hendley had been with American Honda for 16 years working across a range of roles involving sales, field operations and export management.

American Honda has also confirmed that Carole Suwa has taken over as senior manager of of logistics at the carmaker, replacing Scott Crail who left American Honda after a 30-year tenure in December last year.
