Groupe PSA is extending its Distrago multi-brand parts distribution service in the UK with the introduction of Distrago Relay. The secondary network will help support centres providing aftermarket services for Groupe PSA customers, including for Vauxhall.
Distrigo, which was launched in 2017, provides original and remanufactured parts for all PSA brands, as well as multi-brand Eurorepar and supplier brand ranges covering all vehicle makes. Distrigo provides nationwide coverage for the PSA dealer and retail networks as well as 21 distribution centres in the UK. According to Groupe PSA, the new Distrigo Relay network will supply the same range of parts across 25 Distrigo Relay centres in the UK to independent trade businesses, providing a one-stop shop for all spare parts and equipment.
The carmaker said Distrago Relay would improve Distrigo’s parts supply and delivery times and grow its market strength in original manufacturer parts, ensuring it provides businesses with a complete service and offer.
“Distrigo has been a great success in both offering an excellent service to our customers and reducing the distribution cost of parts,” said Richard Dyson, Groupe PSA Parts and Service director UK. “Being able to offer all makes parts through Eurorepar and supplier brands (such as Bosch, Nissens and Valeo), our original equipment portfolio has delivered an unbeatable product and price offer. Distrigo Relay ensures we improve the UK coverage and have the ability to improve the service we offer the independent trade.”
Groupe PSA’s Eurorepar Car Service network is set to grow from 160 to 300 garages as well as including the independent aftermarket.
In other news, Groupe PSA has set up a new e-store for accessories through its PSA Aftermarket division. Through the online store customers can purchase accessories for Peugeot, Citroën, DS Automobiles and Opel, including current and older ranges. Initially, the offer will be offered in France, Germany and Spain, before being rolled out to other countries.
