Jaguar Land Rover signs five-year contract with Unipart in US

Unipart Logistics has expanded its services for Jaguar Land Rover in the US with the addition of a newly built aftermarket parts distribution centre in Mickleton (NJ), supporting the carmaker’s expansion into the north-east

Unipart Logistics is managing an aftermarket parts distribution centre in Mickleton, New Jersey as part of a new five-year contract signed with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). The move supports JLR’s expansion into the north-east of the US.

The 26,000 sq.m facility, which has been purpose-built, will manage parts for both Jaguar and Land Rover distributing to 90 retailers in the region, as well as to the port of Baltimore. Operations include receiving and outward distribution, reverse logistics and transport management.

Unipart Logistics has existing contracts with JLR in the US, operating other warehouses across the country. According to Unipart it provides technical first line support, customer service, branded goods, special service orders, and retailer inventory management.
