Mergers and acquisitions
Priority Freight parent company Tawin Holdings acquires transport provider inTime Group
Tawin Holdings, which owns Priority Freight, has signed an agreement with Mutares SE & Co to purchase inTime Express Logistik and all its subsidiaries, including Trans Logo Tech (TLT) and Routewise.
Tawin Holdings' acquisition of inTime Group is subject to regulatory approvals, and the deal is expected to close at the end of March 2026. According to inTime Group, this step strengthens its position in the European market for time-critical transport solutions.
"This acquisition will align two of the largest time-critical solutions providers in Europe and it is expected that inTime’s leading road network, coupled with Tawin’s current operating model and volumes will add value and improved service provision to both companies, particularly with the forthcoming EU Mobility Package in July 2026," a spokesperson for Tawin Holdings commented.
After the EU Mobility Package is implemented, Tawin Holdings expects there will be a reduction in capacity from July onwards, so it believes that with this acquisition it will be "well-positioned to fulfil business demands".
Tawin Holdings also expects that with its significant volume of premium road transports and a global network of air solutions (including air charter, air freight and on-board courier services), it will allow inTime Group to access and increase its service offering to customers.
"The acquisition will add value to both companies and deliver enhanced ability to manage peak demand from customers," the spokesperson added.
According to Tawin Holdings, this new combined group will have revenues of around €300m ($349m) , plus €200m ($233m) of freight under management.
Since being acquired by Mutares in August 2025, inTime Group has gone through a major restructuring. This included a broad programme to improve both its operations and finances, helping transform the company into a more focused and scalable platform for future growth.
Tawin Holdings has owned Priority Freight since December 2023.
