Brendan Lenane will leave his position as head of procurement for freight and logistics services at Magna Logistics Europe (MLE) on April 30th.
 
According to Magna International Europe, Lenane will leave to pursue interests outside of Magna. An announcement of his replacement is expected in the coming weeks.
 
In an email circulated to MLE suppliers and associates, Klaus Iffland, vice-president of global purchasing and logistics, and Dr Jörg Blechinger, director of MLE, expressed regret over Lenane’s departure. “We regret to lose Brendan and want to thank him for his great contribution over the last years. We wish him success for his future both personally and professionally.”
 
Lenane joined Magna in May 2012. Previously he held positions at logistics providers Panalpina and Reimler Worldwide Logistics. From 2008 to 2011, he was corporate head of logistics at steel supplier DCM Decometal.
