A platform built for a smarter, faster automotive logistics community
We’ve redesigned the Automotive Logistics website to deliver sharper insight, faster access and a smoother, more intuitive experience at a time when you need it most.
Dear Automotive Logistics community,
I’m thrilled to welcome you to the fully redesigned Automotive Logistics website. This refresh was undertaken with you – our readers across OEMs, suppliers, logistics and technology providers – first and foremost in mind. After months of planning and development, our new site is live, and I’d like to share why we made these changes and what they mean for you, and what else to watch out for in the weeks and months ahead.
The way you consume information has evolved, and our site needed to evolve with it. At the same time, the environment our community operates in is changing faster than ever. On-again, off-again tariffs, combined with other supply chain disruptions and uncertainties, have tested even the best-prepared logistics networks.
If past crises have taught us anything, it’s that the automotive logistics sector learns and adapts. We’ve overcome economic recessions, natural disasters and global pandemics by embracing new strategies and working more collaboratively. That resilient, forward-thinking spirit is what we aim to foster with our new digital platform. The website is built to deliver timely insights, analysis and real-time updates to help you navigate uncertainty and turn disruption into opportunity. We also knew the site had to feel intuitive and familiar, so it truly meets your needs.
“The aim of Automotive Logistics is to provide all of you, the experts and leaders in this sector, the information, data and connections that you need to succeed,” said Christopher Ludwig, chief content officer at Automotive Logistics and Ultima Media. “We wanted our website therefore to better reflect the job roles, objectives and trends across this community, whilst powering the platform with a stronger data layer for users, as well as content creation tools for our editors.”
Reaffirming our mission
Ultimately, every change comes back to one idea: better serving you, the global automotive logistics community, to succeed in your role and your company. These improvements strengthen our mission to be a 360-degree knowledge platform for the industry – spanning digital editorial, business intelligence, in-person conferences, livestreams, video, print magazines, newsletters, and more. The key functions across automotive logistics, along with our core content pillars – digitalisation, sustainability, nearshoring, lean transformation, EV and battery logistics, and what is becoming an increasingly critical area, compliance and trade – are now more clearly reflected across the site.
Our content is designed to help you respond, adapt and lead on all of these fronts. And to help you find what you need, we've made it easier to browse content by format – whether you're looking for executive profiles, feature articles, reports, Red Sofa video interviews or news.
As excited as we are about the new site, this refresh is just the beginning. The platform provides a strong foundation for future improvements and content opportunities. In the coming months, we'll continue refining the site based on your feedback. As your needs evolve and new technologies emerge, we'll adapt right alongside you. Our mission remains the same as when Automotive Logistics was founded: to connect and inform the automotive logistics and supply chain community worldwide in the best way possible.
“Like any launch, this is a work-in-progress and watch out for more updates to come, including more personalised and targeted content, as well as cross-sharing of content from our wider network of publication, as well as our events,” added Ludwig.
I want to sincerely thank you – our readers, partners and friends – for your support during this transition. We hope you enjoy the new browsing experience and find real value in these improvements. Please explore the site and let us know what you think. We're listening and eager to hear if these changes make your work life easier, and how we can continue improving Automotive Logistics as a resource for you.
Thank you for being part of the Automotive Logistics community and for trusting us as your information partner.
