Volvo Group acknowledged the "pivotal role" Blin has played in Renault Truck's profitability journey during his ten years of service, noting that he will continue to contribute to various projects going forward.

He has been an early advocate for advancing sustainable transport solutions. In 2024, Renault Trucks – under Blin's leadership – began construction of a new global spare parts distribution centre (PDC) at its Saint-Priest complex near Lyon in France, with sustainability at its core.

The 46,000 sq.m facility was designed to operate on renewable energy, with photovoltaic panels spanning the entirety of the facility's roof, generating energy for on-site uses such as heating and charging electric vehicles (EVs), as well as supplying energy to nearby buildings.

Blin will officially step down on November 1, 2025, to be succeeded by Antoine Duclaux, who is currently leading the Renault Trucks international division.

Duclaux has “extensive experience” in the transportation and construction industries, having held several leadership roles at Volvo Group and building materials supplier Holcim.

In his current role, Duclaux oversees all markets outside of Europe for Renault Trucks and is based in Lyon.
