Packaging firm GPS Group expands into automotive industry
GPS Group enters automotive logistics with circular solutions for automotive parts.

Industrial reusable
packaging solutions provider GPS Group is entering into the automotive market,
offering circular logistics solutions for the transport of automotive parts.
The French group
designs and produces foldable metal containers and reusable pallets under a
circular economy model that it said can lead to a reduction in CO₂ emissions of
up to 86% compared to single-use packaging.
As well as
containers, GPS also provides its customers with comprehensive logistics
management for their flows, including advanced solutions for container
traceability, tracking, collection, maintenance, servicing and redistribution.
With an
international footprint of 90 sites, 20 subsidiaries and 5,000 collection
points across France, Germany, Romania and the UK, GPS said embarking into
automotive is a “strategic milestone”.
