Rasquinha will take up the new role at the beginning of July based in Singapore.

She moves to DB Schenker from rival logistics provider Kuehne + Nagel where she was director of sea freight in the Netherlands. Prior to that she worked at DHL Global Forwarding.

“Aditi has an extensive international and multi-cultural leadership experience,” said Thorsten Meincke, member of the global management board for air and ocean freight at DB Schenker. “She has profound expertise in ocean freight, and she knows the Apac in depth from more than 15 years of working in the region. With her mindset of customer focus and excellence she fits perfectly to DB Schenker and will be a great enrichment of our global ocean management team. We are very happy to have her on board.”

Earlier this month DB Schenker also announced that Christa Koenen would be taking over as its new chief information officer and chief digital officer (CIO/CDO), replacing Markus Sontheimer, who is moving to a new role outside of DB Schenker. Koenen moves from her position as CIO at Deutsche Bahn and takes up her new role on September 1.
