Antolin opens interior component plants in Indonesia and Thailand
Antolin has inaugurated two new plants in south-east Asia for the regional supply of automotive interior components to carmakers, including modular headliners, door panels and cockpits.

The Spanish components maker is already supplying carmakers in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region, including BYD, Changan, Ford and Vinfast. Across wider Asia it operates 32 plants as well as eight technical-commercial offices (TCOs), employing more than 3,800 people.
In Thailand, the Spanish tier supplier has opened a new plant in the automotive manufacturing hub of Rayong. It will produce acoustic foams. Antolin said it would be supplying existing customers in Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam with interiors for new electric and hybrid models from the Thai plant. The facility also includes an in-house testing laboratory to maintain high levels of quality, according to the company.
“This plant will become a benchmark in innovation and sustainability, and will contribute to generating qualified employment and lasting industrial value in Thailand,” said Ernesto Antolin, chairman of Antolin. “Our ambition is to grow together with this country and with the entire region, supporting the transition toward an electric and connected vehicle.”
At Cikarang in Indonesia, Antolin is working with its local partner APM Armada Autoparts (AAA) and is beginning with the production of headliner units while it assesses the potential for producing door panels, lighting systems and electronic systems.
Antolin said that both plants are equipped with the latest technology and sustainable processes, integrating recycled materials, bio-based adhesives and ecologically responsible treatments. The company said it focused on developing local talent, transferring knowledge and working closely with domestic suppliers, to create skilled employment and sustainable value for local economies.
