BYD boosts battery EV sales and plans localisation in Europe Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD Auto reported global sales of more than 526,400 pure battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in 2023. Of that BEV sales figure, 13,000 units were sold in Europe in November alone, led by the Atto 3 model.
