Yusen Logistics China, air/ocean freight forwarding and contract logistics provider, has recently opened a new warehouse in Guangzhou, the capital of the Guangdong province in south China.

Yusen Logistics already has a number of automotive related customers in the area, and is also anticipating growth in demand from the consumer goods market for warehouse services. The new warehouse opened earlier in autumn, and the company hopes it will strengthen its presence in the area. The LSP plans to provide efficient handling, collection, and delivery services by taking advantage of economies of scale, and using its knowledge of the automotive industry.

The Guangzhou warehouse will provide services including sorting, labelling, packing and inspection, and it is located 15 kilometres from the port, and 40 kilometres from the airport. Yusen Logistics has been busy in south China recently, consolidating two of its warehouses into one facility in a bid to improve operational efficiency, and enhance service quality and products. Both warehouses together offer 19,171.5sq. feet of space in the region.
