La industria automotriz mexicana ha sufrido mucho tanto Covid-19 como la subsiguiente escasez de la cadena de suministro, con una producción de vehículos nuevos, exportaciones y ventas por debajo de los niveles anteriores a la pandemia. Sin embargo, el sector está recuperando el impulso a medida que los fabricantes aumentan la producción y el comercio transfronterizo. La cadena de suministro ahora debe seguir el ritmo de la recuperación a pesar de los continuos problemas de capacidad y entrega.

Logística Automotriz y Cadena de Suministro México regresa por primera vez desde la pandemia, reconectando a los tomadores de decisiones de los OEMs, proveedores, gobierno y proveedores de logística en la Ciudad de México con la misión de desarrollar una logística más optimizada, basada en datos y cadenas de suministro más resistentes. He has worked at VW Group for more than 27 years, including 15 years in IT, where he was chief information officer for VW's plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee; later he was GM for IT for the group’s global production network and helped to establish Volkswagen Group IT Services in locations including Germany, India and Portugal. Bravo joined Audi Mexico in 2017 and has worked in programme planning, production control and led inbound logistics. He has further been involved in tech startups, including as cofounder of Blonic.com in Spain. He has an MBA from Ibero-American University and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Puebla Institute of Technology, Mexico, along with other qualifications and trainings in executive leadership from the US, Mexico and Europe.

Before starting his role in January 2022, he held a variety of roles in logistics at Audi, including most recently as senior Director of International Logistics, and before that at Audi Mexico, where he led Logistics and Production Control and helped launch the carmaker’s new plant in San José Chiapas. An engineer by trade, Peter Koltai started his career with Audi in the mid-1990s in international logistics planning. He moved to Cosworth Technology, based in Worcester, UK, for three years before returning to Germany to a role in inbound logistics. Peter Koltai studied Nautical Science at the Nautical University of Odessa and at the University of Györ (Hungary), Business Administration and Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Of Würzburg (Germany).
