The first Automotive Logistics & Supply Chain Digital Strategies, to be held in Munich on November 6-7, 2023, will delve deep into how OEMs, suppliers and logistics providers are improving supply chain transparency and capacity management, connecting data from tier-N suppliers through to final customers, and increasing automation in processes including network design, lineside delivery and finished vehicle logistics.
Following years of production disruptions and delivery delays, automotive manufacturers and service providers are accelerating the path to more connected, transparent and predictive supply chains.
Automotive OEMs and suppliers are working with technology experts to improve their logistics and transport management systems (TMS) and establish control towers that track and anticipate problems before they occur. They are looking closely at opportunities to use new types of flexible logistics automation, whether in plant supermarkets and warehouses, or finished vehicle yards.
The acceleration of digitalisation across the supply chain is why Automotive Logistics is launching its first event dedicated to scaling opportunities to increase visibility, efficiency and value, from end to end in the supply chain.
Automotive Logistics & Supply Chain Digital Strategies will be where Logistics Meets IT will explore successful digitalisation strategies from automotive logistics leaders and technology experts. It will feature in-depth panel discussions and insights on what technology best fits key supply chain objectives, on how to prioritise digital investments and develop a culture and workforce that embraces new systems and processes. Above all, it will explore how the automotive supply chain can capture greater value from data.
Automotive Logistics Supply Chain Digital Strategies will offer a deep dive view into key areas of logistics digitalisation and data analytics, including tools to optimise workflows such as digital control towers, transport and yard management, track and trace, freight booking and carrier systems, damage and inspection tools, custom clearance, and more.
