Bringing the European automotive industry back together again

For nearly two decades, ALSC Europe has been where supply chain management decision makers, innovators and disruptors have connected from across automotive manufacturers, logistics and technology service providers. After a three-year absence, the community is finally coming back together in-person in Munich for an agenda packed with data, discussions, workshops and networking, and will be better and larger than ever with an online presence to reach even more stakeholders and enhance connection opportunities.

This event from the team at Automotive Logistics will help the industry manage the sweeping changes, disruptions and new technology in the European supply chain, with exclusive keynotes, panels and interviews from large and startup players across inbound, manufacturing, finished vehicle and service parts logistics. The aim is to encourage collaboration, promote innovation and help prioritise investments that support the European automotive industry’s recovery and ambitious goals in electrification and sustainability. And to have a lot of fun along the way.

The conference agenda pivots around the urgency of adapting logistics to the post-Covid ‘new never normal’, in which volatile markets, cost rises, component and labour shortages are challenging assumptions in sourcing and manufacturing. It will showcase the strategies helping OEMs and suppliers to regain resiliency and remain flexible, especially through digitalisation and data-driven solutions across supply chain design and operations, from real-time visibility of materials and vehicles to AI-based logistics engineering.

As well as well mitigating disruption, Automotive Logistics and Supply Chain Europe unpacks the technology, processes and partnerships that will future proof the region’s automotive industry, including the efficient scaling up of electric vehicle and battery supply chains and changing business models in mobility. And with both the EU and national governments setting more stringent regulations around emission reduction, and major OEMs committed to reaching net carbon zero, sustainable supply chain and logistics will be at the heart of the programme. Speakers will explore standards for measuring emissions, multimodal transport, electrified freight technology and alternative fuel opportunities.

Supply chain management has never been more central to the short and longer-term planning of automotive manufacturers in Europe and is essential to the region’s recovery and transition. Attend the conference to understand how logistics can be a competitive advantage, and how you can ensure your supply chain succeeds in the never new normal.
