Doug Brown, who served as general manager of business development for Automotive at Ceva Logistics, has left the company to pursue a new position at ocean and air freight logistics provider, Panalpina.

Brown takes up the position of vice president of automotive and manufacturing and will oversee operations in China.

The company has also announced that its chief information officer will join the company’s executive board. Rod Angwin, who was appointed CIO in August, 2012, has more than 30 years of IT experience for a number of different retail and consumer brands and will become the executive board’s sixth member in January, 2014.
