Automotive parts supplier Federal-Mogul has renamed its Vehicle Components division as Federal-Mogul Motorparts. The division provides brands including Moog, Fel-Pro, Champion, Wagner, Anco and Ferodo, to the global aftermarket. It also provides vehicle braking, chassis and wiper components.

Federal-Mogul markets its products through independent warehouse distributors and retailers throughout North America, and its products are distributed on a pull-through basis to customers, who are linked electronically to the company’s proprietary order management platform.

“For more than a century, we have remained focused on providing the highest quality components across each of the product categories and regions we serve,” said Daniel Ninivaggi, CEO of Federal-Mogul Motorparts, and Co-CEO of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation. “Vehicle manufacturers recognise this, as our friction products are found on seven of the top 10 vehicle models in Europe, and the best-selling vehicle in North America.”

Federal-Mogul Holdings revenue was $6.8 billion in 2013 and of that total $3.1 billion was delivered by the division now known as Federal-Mogul Motorparts.

Sales in Q1 of this year for the corporation stood at $1.779 billion. Of that figure $720m was accounted for by the Motorparts division.
