The Grimaldi Group has received the Qualitas Award from Fiat-Chrysler for its supply chain management solutions. The award was presented last Wednesday (November 13) during the carmaker’s annual Supplier Qualitas Convention.

The event, which took place at Fiat-Chrysler’s north Italy headquarters in Turin, was attended by suppliers and employees from around Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Luc Billiet presented the award to Costantino Baldissara, Grimaldi’s commercial director of logistics and operations.

“The Grimaldi Group is being recognised as a supplier that delivers outstanding logistical performances by consistently working with Fiat-Chrysler in a proactive manner and with no quality issues in the last three years,” said Billiet.

“We are extremely honoured to receive this prestigious award, which recognises our full commitment in meeting the high quality standards set by Fiat-Chrysler,” said Emanuele Grimaldi, the company’s CEO.

CPM, an Italian subsidiary of Dürr, was also among the award winners. The company received the Capital Equipment Supplier of the Year award, presented for its work towards efficient flex-decking solutions.
