Mr. Hopkins is a Director and Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Transportation & Logistics practice. In this role, he works with corporate executives and private equity firms advising on M&A and financing transactions. His clients span a number of subsectors, including logistics, asset-based trucking, rail, marine, aviation, transportation equipment leasing, and others. Mr. Hopkins is based in the firm’s New York office.

Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Hopkins worked at Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. (formerly a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp., now part of Lockheed Martin) managing corporate strategy, M&A, and special projects. Prior to that, Mr. Hopkins served as a Senior Vice President at M.M. Dillon & Co. and as a Vice President at Jefferies & Co., focusing on M&A advisory and capital-raising transactions for industrial, automotive, and transportation and logistics companies. Earlier, he was a Private Equity Analyst at Penske Capital Partners, responsible for sourcing fund investment opportunities and deal execution. He began his investment banking career at Bank of America, focused on the retail and consumer sectors.

Mr. Hopkins holds a B.A. in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College.
