The software, called Highjump Warehouse Advantage, will be deployed by Optimis, Highjump Software’s partner in Brazil and will manage inbound parts, inventory control and tracking, as well as the production lines at its assembly operation. According to the company Mitsubishi stands to benefit from greater visibility of its inventory and labour to effect more efficient planning and operations.

“We are thrilled to partner with Mitsubishi Brazil, help them improve their operations and support their growth,” said David Houser, vice president of international sales, HighJump Software. “The auto industry is very important to Brazil and the solution is complex. The performance and flexibility of our WMS within the dynamic line-feed for Mitsubishi will add significant value over the years.”

Mitsubishi’s Catalao facility has a daily output of 300 vehicles and produces the Pajero TR4, Pajero Dakar, L200 Triton and the ASX. The facility is run through a local partnership called MMC Automotores do Brasil.
