Penske Logistics’ division in Mexico has named Pedro Sanchez as its sales director. Based in Saltillo, Mexico, he is now responsible for strategic business development that extends into new sectors.

“The role is newly created,” confirmed an executive spokesperson. “The auto sector is central to Penske’s business in Mexico as it provides a number of leading automakers and tier one automotive suppliers within the country. Sanchez will continue to develop business within the auto sector for Penske in Mexico as well as within other sectors.”

Sanchez joins Penske from international supply chain provider UTi Worldwide where he was director of Client Solutions and business development manager. Prior to that he worked for FedEx as a global account manager in the LATAM Automotive Group and as a cross border account manager along the US-Mexico border.
