Renault has appointed Jose Vicente de los Mozos as its executive vice president of Manufacturing and Supply chain, replacing Thierry Bolloré who has taken up a new role as chief competitive officer.
de los Mozos was most recently director of the Renault Group’s Body Assembly Manufacturing while also serving as managing director of Renault Spain.
He joined Renault as an apprentice in 1978 before moving on to the engineering team at the Valladolid body assembly plant. He has held a number of engineering management roles in France and Spain for Renault and in 2003 joined Nissan Motor Ibérica in Barcelona as deputy production director before going on to become the director of Nissan Motor Ibérica two years later.
In September 2008, he joined automotive supplier FICOSA as general manager of its Automobile Division and held this position until October 2009.
