Paragon Automotive, which provides logistics services for new and used cars in the UK, has appointed Steve Stanger to a newly created role as head of planning, technical and special projects.

Stanger moves from his role at Paragon as group operations director and the company is now in the process of recruiting a replacement. He has been with Paragon Automotive since it began operations in 2005 and has more than 34 years’ experience in the automotive sector.
 
“Steve has a proven ability to drive a business forward and his contribution will be key to the successful development of our business,” said Mike Pilkington, managing director of Paragon Automotive. “We have a number of new products to bring to market in 2015 that will help us achieve our ambition to become the essential supply chain partner for the automotive industry.”

Paragon operates 11 sites across the UK with in excess of 158ha of storage and more than 58,500 sq.m of vehicle processing facilities. Each site has the capability to prepare, defleet and remarket vehicles. The company also operates a fleet of 110 transporters.
