Tamara_Histand_RenaissanceTamara Histand, who was previously executive vice president of global automotive at Ceva Logistics, is to take up a new role with Renaissance Global Logistics as chief commercial officer (CCO). The role is newly created at the company and Histand will be responsible for business development and account management activities.

Renaissance Global Logistics, a division of James Group International, provides inventory consolidation, warehousing, repackaging and order fulfilment services for a range of companies, including carmakers Ford and GM.

“Tammy is a visionary who complements our team with her extensive automotive and supply chain background,” said the company’s CEO and president, John James.

Histand left Ceva in February last year, amongst a number of other moves at the company, and was replaced by Toni Fondevilla, who moved from his role as vice-president, global key account management, European automotive sector leader.

She had been with Ceva since 2008 when she joined as director of global automotive from Ford. Her roles at Ceva following that move included as vice-president and senior vice-president of global automotive. She also previously worked in the automotive practice at Deloitte Consulting.
