Logistics and transport provider Kuehne + Nagle has signed a three year contract with Toyota to manage its spare parts warehouse in Ukraine. The company will support the supply of parts and accessories to Toyota dealers and service stations in the country, from a 37,000-square-metre share warehouse in Chayka near its capital, Kiev. The facility has storage and handling capacity for 8,000 spare parts.

Orders are delivered to the Chayka warehouse directly from Toyota’s European parts centre in Diest, Belgium and the company said that delivery time for the distribution of parts throughout Ukraine has been cut to one day since operations began.

“We are very pleased to have been selected by such an important company as Toyota Ukraine,” said Viktor Shkarban, managing director of Kuehne + Nagel Ukraine. “Toyota has the highest quality standards and expects the same from its business partners and service providers. We are confident that the combination of our strengths will create a real win-win-situation for both Toyota Ukraine and Kuehne + Nagel.”
