Ty started transporting cars in the Kansas City area, with a 1-ton truck and a 3-car trailer, in November 1999; and by 2007 had grown his auto transport fleet into twenty 2007 Peterbilts - each tractor hauling 9-car Cottrell 7509 stingers. His company specialized in moving auction and dealer cars FAST - as he became known locally as the “overnight delivery guy” - getting cars in twenty-four hours or less (and always available by phone). In 2018, Ty co-founded CTS Business Coaching to help small carriers build a better business strategy that benefits the carrier, the dealer and the auto auction. Since Ty has always been a strong believer in developing a niche business and over-servicing customers (as well as being the carrier that dealers and auctions can always rely on), he is now putting his years of experience into measurable results while helping the next generation of car haulers build a better business network.
